The short version
- A full month of 2 vCPU and 4 GB is listed at $4.76, against $249 at Vercel, $145 at Cloudflare, and $121 at Daytona.
- The pricing page's 57-hour estimate for that size is $0.37, and Agent37 says it will refund the difference if you find a cheaper sandbox.
- Compute is billed only while the sandbox runs; disk is billed while you keep it; a personal agent is free and new accounts start with $5.

A full month priced to undercut the incumbents
Sandboxes have no moat. Just fat margins. We're launching to kill those margins.
The official page on agent37.com calls Agent37 the cheapest cloud sandbox for AI agents: you build the agents, it runs the infrastructure. Krishnaprasad's November 3, 2026 announcement frames the launch as a race to the bottom, arguing there is nothing magical about a sandbox that justifies keeping it expensive. The worked example is a machine with 2 vCPUs and 4 GB of RAM left running an entire month: Vercel $249, Cloudflare $145, Daytona $121, Agent37 $4.76. The site says it will refund the difference if you find a cheaper sandbox, and it claims 94 percent lower cost than most sandbox providers. That month-long bill is a separate scenario from the lighter estimate on the pricing page, and the comparison has drawn a response from Vercel's CEO.
Minute rates and the $0.37 estimate
The estimator is metered by the minute. Compute is charged while the sandbox runs, and disk is charged while you keep it. The total on screen assumes you delete the sandbox after the hours shown. Published unit rates are $0.0011 per vCPU-hour, $0.00096 per GB of memory per hour, and $0.00012 per GB of disk per hour. At 2 vCPUs and 4 GB for 57 hours a month, about 7 percent uptime, the page totals $0.37: $0.34 of compute and $0.03 of disk. Size choices on that screen also include 4 vCPU with 8 GB, 4 vCPU with 16 GB, and a 4 GB persistent disk. The comparison covers 31 providers. In the 57-hour column, the Cloudflare Sandbox row is labeled 2 vCPU and 6 GiB, so it is not the same memory spec as the 4 GB example.
| Provider (57 hours) | Estimate | Multiple of Agent37 |

Harnesses, sleep, and who the credits are for
You build the agents. We run the infrastructure.
Ready-made harnesses on the page are Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, QM, and Grok, and you can bring your own. Agent37 also lists background jobs, desktop and browser sessions, and Docker containers. Each customer's tools, files, and credentials sit in a separate sandbox. The company says it powers agents for more than 250 startups, naming Vision, LeniHealth, Lionox, Future Bridge Solutions, FlyHermes, Agentastic, and GetOpenClaw. The page says Agent37 ranks on two open benchmarks for the most compute per dollar; those benchmark names and scores are not stated next to the rate card, and the refund is promised without a published claim process.
- Networking
Authenticated URLs, public ports, and custom domains.
- Lifecycle and storage
With no activity the sandbox sleeps and compute billing stops until a request wakes it. Files survive sleep and restart and can be restored from automatic backups. Disk still bills while you keep the sandbox.
- Observability and isolation
You can follow CPU, memory, disk, and logs. Workloads are treated as untrusted and isolated at the kernel.
- Credits
A personal agent is free, and starting credit is $5. Startup credits begin at $1,000, then match later spend, up to $10,000.
How to try it
Open the pricing page and start free
Go to agent37.com and use Start Free. New accounts get $5 in credit, and the personal agent is listed as free.
Pick a harness and isolate each customer
Choose Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, QM, Grok, or your own harness. Keep that customer's tools, files, and credentials in their own sandbox.
Choose a size and watch the meter
Sizes shown are 2 vCPU with 4 GB, 4 vCPU with 8 GB, 4 vCPU with 16 GB, and a 4 GB persistent disk. Compute bills by the minute only while the sandbox runs; disk bills while you keep it, and idle time sleeps.
FAQ
Why do $4.76 and $0.37 both show up for the same 2 vCPU, 4 GB sandbox?
$4.76 is the announcement's cost for leaving that machine running an entire month. $0.37 is the pricing page's estimate for 57 hours at about 7 percent uptime, then deleting the sandbox: $0.34 compute and $0.03 disk. On that same 57-hour comparison, Vercel Sandbox is listed at $19.43, about 52.3 times Agent37.
